The Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency regulates a range of Australian health professionals, and can act on some complaints from consumers. It received feedback from consumers that its communications were hard to understand. AHPRA asked us to work with them on a year-long project to revise all its templates and test them internally and externally. We wrote and edited templates in batches, testing them along the way and taking in the learnings for the new batch. The feedback from the consumers was positive.
