Scott Morrison's one-word gesture won't unify Australia, but a bigger conversation might https://t.co/nTBIs6oRys
We offer writing skills workshops to people who work in health, in science, in government and in the NGO sector who want to get their message across more clearly.
We work to understand the needs of the participants, the needs of their audience, what messages the participants want to get across and what problems they face in doing so. Workshops are practical, offering ways through the maze that writing can present.
One favourite project was teaching writing skills to HIV clinicians and researchers in south-east Asia. Organised by TREAT Asia, we held one- to three-days workshops in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing (twice). Clinicians and researchers gained the skills and confidence to publish their research in peer-reviewed journals.
Another has been to present workshops with Melissa Sweet of Croakey Health Media to postgraduates through the Sydney University Faculty of Health and Medicine’s early career researcher program.
